RRUFF is inviting mission-driven leaders to join our Board of Directors and help support the mental health of veterans and first responders through life-changing service dog training.

Term & Commitment

• Two-year term, renewable

• Board meets every other month, in person, in Rocklin

• Members serve on at least one committee: Finance, Fundraising, Executive, or Governance

• Event support is required a few times per year

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and fiduciary oversight to ensure organizational health and sustainability

• Actively support fundraising through giving, outreach, sponsorships, and donor engagement

• Serve as ambassadors by increasing brand awareness and leveraging personal and professional networks

• Support and attend key events where our mission comes to life

• Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to advance RRUFF’s mission

Who We’re Looking For

• Individuals with a genuine heart for veterans, first responders, mental health, and service dogs

• People who are engaged, well-connected, and excited to help RRUFF grow

• Experience in fundraising, marketing, finance, law, nonprofit leadership, or community engagement is helpful—but passion and follow-through matter most
